bump - new record out, sounds a bit more like something a few folks here would like. progressive post hardcore is what a few people have been mentioning as. listen to "Home".

Much like sailing a skiff in choppy waters, listening to Scryer is an all around good time. Bursting forth from the ole Santa Cruz, California, Scryer is among the many new bands breaking away from the pack by infusing some fresh shit into their respective genres. In the case of Scryer, the ambient guitars and passionate undertones give the sound something hard to find in other bands. That pizazz evident in Amia Venera Landscape and Between the Screams. These guys have that Something that so many other bands don't have. I'd be very interested in the future of Scryer."
