Quickly becoming one of my favorite movies, I have watched it three times in the past four days after not watching it for quite awhile.

I remember it as "Die replacement friends" as well huh......

ooooo you know what. their are 2 versions of the movie. I never did see the uncut version of it. Maybe its different in the 2 versions.

This is easily my favorite movie. I've watched it at least 40 times, and I'm borderline obsessed with it. I even went out and bought a bunch of Neil Diamond records to have my own "Hall O' Neil." (see below) It's the best comedy made in the past 10 years and gets better and better with every viewing...there's so many subtle things that Zahn and Black do that made it better each watch.

i really could never understand why the critics despised it, some even had the balls to say it wasnt funny. obviously they have no sense of humor. The dialogue is hilarious. I love when jason biggs throws jack black onto sandys car haha and it totals it HAHAHA. or when judith kicks him out of the truck and he smacks the pavement and rolls...........ooo wow, and i definately love the part when the dude from full metal jacket (emery i think his name is in real life) jumps out of the car for absolutely no reason with the uzi and he gets hit by the car. hahaha so many good times in that movie.

fuck you is way better. jack's delivery on it is spot on. and Ss isn't a movie that swears much at all, so 1 or 2 emphatic fucks really punctualize it.

Idiocracy for sure. I find myself watching that whenever I see it on TV. Great stuff right there.

I still don't find Saving Silverman to be that funny. It definitely has the makings to be one, because it did horribly in the box office.

Totally agree! I saw this in the theater when it came out (how long ago was that? 6 or 7 years?), and thought it was okay...but then my friends and I rented it one night and we laughed hysterically, letting me realize the comic gold this movie is! Seriously, there is so much more stuff you notice when you watch it more than once, and some parts are just so ridiculous you can't help but laugh. Definitely one of my most quoted movies, great one-liners. It's on TV all the time, and I know so many people that have the DVD, despite its poor box-office performance. Possible cult classic indeed.

Becoming a cult classic? I don't know, it came out like 6 or 7 years ago and I thought it was already at that status to some point. It's my favorite movie of all time, and in my mind the funniest movie ever made.Everyone I know has seen this movie and loved it so I think that'd be considered a classic. It's my favorite movie of all time too, easily one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. So many great quotes too. I think this is Jack Black's funniest performance.

It came from low budget beginnings.....to me cult classic is defined by how well a good movie, that deviates from traditional Hollywood standards, is remembered years from now.

How much Superbad made will be forgotten. Do you remember how much Dawn of the Dead or Army of Darkness made 20 or thirty years ago?
