Cliche, but true, response...I don't care if people know about all the music I listen to.

That said...what would be considered my guilty pleasure for this site? I like a good bit of country music.

I guess bands that could be considered guility pleasures even though I don't see them as such include, Hanson, Backstreet Boys and I do really enjoy Avril Lavigne's The Best Damn Thing

I don't really consider them "guilty pleasures" but here are some bands that most people tend to give me shit for and I feel a little embarrassed to listen to them as a result.

Killswitch Engage
Hit The Lights
Valencia
New Found Glory
Parkway Drive
I Killed The Prom Queen
Four Year Strong

i can only seem to enjoy 3OH!3 when i'm drunk. i try to listen to it the next day when i'm sober, and it's so much worse than i ever imagined. but yes, after a few drinks i will start singing "Don't Trust Me" if it comes on.

i don't really care for The Cab, but i love "One Of Those Nights" because it reminds me of a 90's boy bands.

I do really enjoy Avril Lavigne's The Best Damn Thing

That's easily her best record, I wouldn't say that's a guilty pleasure. I'd feel more guilty listening to Let Go the one between the two that shall not be named.

new hanson or mmmbop hanson?

Does it matter? It's all good.

i can only enjoy them when I'm around other people who also enjoy them. normally, being around people who like a terrible band only make me more of an asshole about how much i hate said band but with 3OH!3, it was just too catchy/infectious.

new hanson or mmmbop hanson?

I actually really enjoy their first two albums but Underneath and The Walk are quality pop records.

i get shit for listening to Rocky Loves Emily because everyone i know listens to metal... and the guys from rocky loves emily were all in metal bands before they started RLE. so yeah its sorta controversial in MI.

I say EFFF the metal vs pop shit.

Really? It's my least favorite. There are some good jams, but it gets annoying really quick for me. Maybe it's because the tone of the album is very bratty, and I really don't like bratty girls, lol. I love Let Go because it feels like a snapshot of a teenage girl growing up, and I'm a sucker for nostalgic music. Also, some of the lyrics that aren't gender specific connected really well for me when I was younger. Under My Skin isn't that good, but the best songs are great.

(Ha, I went to see Avril's "Best Damn Tour." It was such a fun show, lol. I got crap from my friends for it, but it was worth it.)

Suicide Silence. Yes they do indeed suck, but their music actually pisses me off enough to work out harder so I don't look like one of their anorexic fans.

Pretty sure I've posted in one of these threads before, but I don't hide what I listen to. I'll fully admit to liking:

Ashlee Simpson's first two albums
Demi Lovato
Hanson
Christina Aguilera
My Chemical Romance (they get a lot of shit on here, I think)
Michael Jackson (I guess since he died it's "okay" to fully admit to listening to him)

I love Katy Perry. I'm not even guilty about that one. Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato. That's it. Some 303 on occasion. Oh shit, Justin Timeberlake! But I'm not guilty about that either.
