We need a source for new Comedy albums being released and also we could combine it with a recommendation thread.
The most recent album I found was Maria Bamford's...I'm not sure what else has been coming out as far as new comedy.
My favorites are:
Mike Birbiglia
Doug Benson
Daniel Tosh
In that vein.........
Either way, discuss your favorites and keep up to date on new releases. Go!

I really like Lavell Crawford, but I don't think he's released any albums.

Bill Hicks. Rant In E-Minor and Arizona Bay are two of the greatest comedy albums ever.

There's a lot of what I can only assume to be English comedians being recommended in here. Will check them out.

I've heard Zach Galifinakis' stuff is good but I haven't seen any yet
If you can either get ahold of the Comedians of Comedy Doc or the Live at Purple Onion DVD...there you go.
It's confusing how Zach hasn't had a CD released yet.

Haha I got bought a 5 dvd set of his a while ago. One of those discs was enough Lee Evans for a lifetime.
P.S This thread is in desperate need of a Youtube flood.

I know it's not really stand up, but Henry Rollins spoken word performances can get hilarious.

It varies. I would call Provoked the closest thing to stand-up he's ever done. That said, I saw him live, and he was funny, sad, angry/awesome.

Haha fair enough if you don't find him funny, but this is so false!

Obviously I am exaggerating, but I still believe it's true. He does the same voice for every character in one of his stories, the same face, the same stupid walk, all where it is unnecessary. Some people eat that up, but I find it boring. Even the bits which are actually a bit funny are ruined by it, for me anyway.

Well he doesn't have about 15 personalities no.

Nor does any comedian... yet there a lot of funny ones who don't rely on stupid walks.
