What band from Roadrunner Records (most of these are still on the label, others are not) do you think is the best? It's a pretty good label for metal, which isn't covered very often on this website in my opinion, so I'm sort of curious if anyone is familiar with these bands.

tough choice between killswitch and glassjaw, and I do love slipknot. . .don't give me crap, they have a great live show. I used to love coal chamber. . .haha, still have a poster in my wall of them from when I was 15. But that was back when I loved Kittie and Korn. We all make mistakes.

Trivium.
But I think at the moment Roadrunner is one of the most solid labels around, I can generally grab something with their logo on it and know there's a good chance I'll love it.
Chimaira. Such a great band although I can also say that about most of the bands on Roadrunner Records.
I went with VOD. Haven't listened to them in forever, though.

No offense to Glassjaw, Glassjaw fans, or anyone on this site, but I'm really curious to see the results of this poll on a site of metal fans. Since this is a punk site, it's obvious that Glassjaw is going to get the overwhelmingly high percentage of votes. I like em, but I know they're not the best artist on Roadrunner Records. Probably the most talented band that's currently on RR is Opeth.

I'm with you.
It doesn't make sense to me... they'll play "Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation" which is almost all screaming without a single edit, but then they'll cut the two lines Matt screams out of a song that's mostly clean-vocal.
Video channels confuse me.

its pretty much bs to put glassjaw on here. it was obvious that they would win from the start. they havent been on the label in 5 or 6 years. i know he said some are on it, some arent, but i still think it was unnecessary to include them.

Saying thas was just a complete waste of time. Of course the majority of people on this site are going to pick glassjaw. And just because they are not a metal band, doesnt mean that they cant be the best band on the label. You are forgetting that this pole is purely opinion. Who cares what they would say on a strictly metal site? If you care, then get out of this site and go to one.
