espn rumor central says vanderjagt will likely be traded or a free agent as well as vinatierri for the pats. ive gotten used to seeing them hit clutch kick after kick for their teams. its going to be weird seeing them in another jersey.

i'd bet theres at least a 50/50 chance of Adam wearing a Cowboy uniform next season.

i don't think vinatierri leaves NE.
I hate the kicking game in football.

Vanderjagt hit a clutch kick? When? Only one game against Denver in 2002 comes to mind. He's the anti-Vinatieri.

The Pats will bring in Jose Cortez and the PatriotMagic will rub off on him and he'll become the greatest kicker in the NFL.
Just watch. The Patriots turn everything they touch into gold. See Randall Gay. Troy Brown. Tom Brady. Antowain Smith. Kevin Faulk. Mike Cloud. Heath Evans. Their O-line, built out of mostly late round draft picks. You get the point.

i agree, except for kevin faulk. he's the equivalent to jerome bettis: 3 yards per carry average. only thing he can do is return kicks and that he's mediocre at best.

you should wake up from that dream.
i do think the cowboys will pick up one of them, they woulda been a playoff team this year w/ a kicker

cowboys definitely get one of them.
the only thing i think would be weird is if vinatieri ends up in indy. be good for them though.
why would vinatieri leave, maybe he wants more money, but he is probably the most beloved kicker in the history of football, he leaves a team which is pretty much guaranteed to make the playoffs to go to the cowboys? i do not see it happening, and i do not think the fans will let it happen, adam vinatieri is responsible for their superbowls more than any other player (ok, maybe a tie with tom brady).

the pats arent going to dedicate a chunk of there cap to a kicker, no matter who it is. i love adam, but a kicker can only be paid so much. You can't pay him like you'd pay your #1 WR or RB.

hell no. keep that cockbite out of black and gold, and keep him out of green and gold. keep him away from any team i like dammit. he makes amazing kicks when they dont matter and blows them by a mile when they do.

uhh, yeah, that's what i was saying. he kinda helped the steelers out this year, i don't know if you missed that.

wow, you need a lesson in sarcasm, he was saying that vanderjagt was the steelers mvp because he missed the kick which allowed the steelers to win over the colts
