just because a band doesn't go nuts on stage doesn't mean that they're not entertaining. although having a energetic stage presence does add to the excitement of a show, it really all comes down to talent in my opinion

as good as a bands music is, i think they're live show has to be engaging. some bands can be engaging without going nuts, others cant.
from what i've heard about copeland, and the few live vids ive seen, they dont really grab me with their live show.
nothing against their music.
maybe i could put in their cd and watch paint dry at the same time. kill two birds with one stone

why i'd rather watch paint dry - if you're a painter and your working you can do other things other than playing games on your phone around a bunch of sweaty people.
also if you're bored it can keep you occupied and you can have a lunch break while paint dries.
paint dries faster than a copeland set.
thats why i'd rather watch paint dry.

i like copeland's music. i own both other their albums. i must say though if s.d.r.e. can make a show exciting than copeland can. if american football made their shows exciting copeland can... but they dont so therefore i think they're boring to watch and after seeing them on screaming is for babies tour for the second time its made me appreciate that i still have the oppuritunity to listen to them on record.

I think I'd rather watch Copeland than a band doing backflips and spinning their guitars but I still think Copeland is incredibly boring live. A band eating fire though, there's something I'd pay to see...
