The Question for me. I know WBHP is an 'EP' but I guess it could be included. Sorry if this poll is already up somewhere.

I voted "...In Shallow Seas We Sail" because thats the album that sold me on buying one of their albums. I had listened to Emery once before and wasn't hooked. But the new album amazing!

You couldn't be more wrong. While I loved somes songs on TWE like "Walls", The Question was hands down better not just because it's more polished but because it balanced their "heaviness" and their penchant for melody.

weak's end and the new one are tied followed very very closely by the question. I voted for the weak's end. I really liked I'm Only A Man though

i just thought it was stupid to release such a "heavy" album, then release something like the question which wasnt anywhere as heavy as the weaks end.

I like a lot of individual songs on The Question but overall I think In Shallow Seas We Sail was more solid as an album

The Question is an album that I have absolutely no problem listening to front to back without a skipping a single track. I can't really say the same about any of the other records.

I didn't pick The Weak's End, just because I can't listen to it almost all the way through like I can with The Question. *shrugs*

The Question is hands down their best release. It was just a great album altogether, and "Studying Politics" is their best song.

Emery both enthralls and frustrates me when I think about their entire catalog. While I strongly agree with many others that The Question is their finest album so far, I do not believe it is going to be their best piece of work when all is said and done. i respect the band for taking chances with their past two full lengths and not settling into one particular sound that is reproduced with every new release. However, with that said i cannot help but feel let down with I am only a Man and In shallow seas we sail, especially after being teased by a solid ep. In terms of sound and message the question cannot be touched by any of their other albums, however, I truly believe Emery are are the verge of blowing the minds of their fans into goo and will shake us all to our foundation. with all that said "walls" will forever have a place on my ipods top 25!
