Four Letter Lie has been gigging in high gear since the start of 2005 with shows on Taste of Chaos and Warped Tour as well as two recent national treks; and their crunching post-hardcore, not unlike bands like Underoath and Silverstein, is getting all the tighter from it. John Waltmann, bassist for Four Letter Lie, said, "We can't explain how excited we are to move forward as part of the Victory Records family. Victory Records and their roster has played a large part of inspiration for us as musicians. We see the light of many possibilities and we couldn't see any other label fit for us to reach those goals." Look for their Victory debut to hit stores in August and recording plans to be announced shortly. Nights Like These fuses the full sonic spectrum of metal and hardcore into a ball of grinding, unforgiving heavy metal, then add their own southern flavor to it. Nights Like These call Memphis, Tennessee home, but are currently in Richmond, VA with Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Reflux, Gods) recording their first full-length CD for Victory Records. The new album (title to be announced) from Nights Like These will be in stores in mid-June ’06. "We are very excited to be working with Victory Records. This is probably one of the greatest things to happen in our lives and we are so glad for things to be going the way they are going. We have been long time fans of the label and are influenced even now by some of their artists. This opportunity is extremely humbling and we will definitely be making the most of this. Expect huge things to be coming for the band!" said vocalist Billy Bottom. Nights Like These have shared the stage with the likes of Poison the Well, Bury Your Dead, and The Red Chord – summer touring in support of their upcoming album will be non-stop.
