one of the greatest rivalries in sports, Duke/UNC meet this saturday at 9pm in beautiful durham, north carolina. this game is already being advertised on espn (sick commercial) and i think it will be shown across three espn networks. the game will be on espn, espnu, and i think espn2 as well. there will be a special split screen on espnu with one of the screens being shown from the cameron crazy cam. espn2 will have an above the rim cam (i think), and the game will also be on espn. so who does everyone think will WIN? not who are you rooting for, who do you think will win?

haha, now we have 3 threads for this game...I guess I'll close mine and bring that discussion here.

I got Duke by 10, with Reddick topping 30. At home, Reddick is nearly unstoppable.

because we all saw the same commercials (which are sicko), and got hooked by the EPSN hype machine. This is proof at how effective they can be.

yeah, the first one was at UNC, which is I think why it was so close.

I also see David Noel having a good game too...hansborough not so much.

And Senior Night at Duke, I can tell you now the reffing will be skewed, accept it now, it's what happens.

I haven't seen the commercial yet, but does it rival the one form the mid 90's, where they showed fans of both teams and that their blood was either Carolina blue or navy blue?

I think it will be close like the last game, but unless Carolina can shut down Reddick (has Jackie Manuel used up all his elgibility? lol) and the Heels play perfect, Duke will edge 'em out.

Now isn't that harsh? Duke's turned out great NBA players like . . . uh . . . hmmm . . . Johnny Dawkins and um . . . Luol Deng

Elton Brand is a good player and Hill who knows if he wasn't hurt so much, but they'll never be another Micheal Jordan, and no college program has churned out NBA players like UNC has over the last 30 years.

i would too...but Jordan isn't putting on the #23 jersey that I know of...so I have my bet on Duke.

Duke will win, it's at Cameron Indoor. UNC is playing really well right now though.

there's probably five people in North Carolina that do not go to Duke or have not actually been to Duke that like them.

Duke by 6 OR UNC by 2. If there is going to he a "OMG WHAT AN UPSET" it will be this game .. because, fuck .. it's UNC/Duke. I wouldn't be surprised if Redick goes completely off though and breaks his career points in a game.

true it could mean duke goes unbeaten in the acc, like i said at the start of conference play when everyone else said they would have at least 2 or 3 losses to teams like wake, maryland, and bc. ha.
