grab any ordinary history book for the sources then.fascism is still alive even here in the states. war has never "solved" communism. and im not aware of any war that was fought over slavery. the only part of your signature that is true is the part about nazis.

and that article didnt prove that this war is neccesary to me.

i guess YOU ARE SAYING that if there never was a civil war, slavery would have been abolished at the same time? how would that have happened?

the war wasn't fought to end slavery, it was fought to restore the Union. the south, however ceceeded from the Union because of pressure from abolsitionists to end slavery and that would have destroyed the southern economy. so in a way it was about slavery, but not the way most people think.

no, they are not. read up on international law and you will see that a declaring war on a nation for regime change is not legal under international law.

Article 2, section 4 or the U.N. Charter reads : All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

we are not declaring a war on a country for a regime change, we are enforcing the terms of our cease fire agreement signed by the Iraqis in 1991.

"...or in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations." - the purpose of the UN security council is to enforce their resolutions, so we are consistent with that purpose.

Actually, the Israel/Palenstine conflict has been going on for centuries. The origins of it are in the Bible (I realize a great majority here will recognize the Bible as truth). That conflict continues to get worse.
