What made them decide to go back to Vagrant?

Was there a conscious decision to move away from the "In Reverie" sound on the new CD due to the backlash IR received, or is what they wrote what came naturally to them...

why was eban d'amico (sp?) kicked out of saves the day? what is saves the day's writing process like, is it colaborative, if so how much does everyone contribute? i think i have heard that chris wrote most of their albums by himself, but i dont know how/if this changed.
overall opinion on being on a major label and again the move back to vagrant? ( im sure you will touch on this)

i dont really want you to ask this but after hearing the 3 song sampler .. do you think the change in chris' voice as anything to do w/ him picking up weight again? I see similarities between CSD and these 3 songs vocally.

To Saves the Day: Who wrote the music and words to "The Vast Spoils of America", and "Do you know what I love the most"?
Chris wrote all of the lyrics. I think Dave wrote "The Vast Spoils" and Ted wrote "Do You know what I love the most"

Will there be any chance of seeing Saves The Day or Moneen on the Vagrant stage on Warped Tour this year?

1. If there was a Saves the Day movie, who would play Chris Conley?
2. What is your favorite Saves the Day song(s)? / If you had to choose one song to define Saves the Day to a stranger, what song would you choose?
3. Chris, what would your last supper be of?
4. To be In Reverie is to be in daydream. My personal interpretation of Sound the Alarm is that, its almost like awaking from the daydream, more specifically, in a sudden and almost violent manner (like...from an alarm). The song titles gave me a general sense of urgency and struggle.
Is there a theme to Sound the Alarm?
5. Will you ever put down the guitar for live performances ever again? We miss you dancing.
thank you for helping me deal with my insecurities and vulnerabilities and just growing up and inspiring me to want to make music.

For Saves the Day: How did you guys get in contact with Manny?
For Moneen: Are you guys going to tour with Boys Night Out again? Or better yet, you guys, Boys Night Out, Alexisonfire, and The Weakerthans should play a Canadian Invasion tour here in the US. That would rock.

to Moneen: why did you decide to give the new album a shorter title than your previous releases and is there is any theme or concept behind "The Red Tree"?

For Saves the Day:
Describe the difference from having Vagrant back your album to having to do most of the work yourself.
For Moneen:
Was it tough to duplicate AOF's songs and do you think that they did a good job duplicating yours?

New Moneen is damn sweet.
So stoked for the new album.

Are the lyrics to "the end" purposefully alluding to "as your ghost takes flight" off 'stay what you are?' I believe the lyrics for "the end" are "i'm a danger to myself/always blaming someone else/got THAT grenade in my mouth and my fingers on the pin, ready to rip it out. The lyrics to "ghost" are "got a grenade stuck to your teeth, and you're pulling on the pin." If "the end" is alluding to "ghost," does this mean that Chris now feels like the person that he was referring to in "ghost?"

I have a few questions about Sound The Alarm.
1) How long did it take to write Sound The Alarm?
2) Is their a sort of story line to Sound The Alarm, and if so, could it be explained?
3) Is that tattooine on the cover??
4) What's the bands favorite track from STA?

My Question for Saves the Day: Do you promise to keep making music forever? haha, no but seriously ask them how long they plan on making the wonderful music they do. And tell them I hope forever because it constantly moves me and has always changed my life when I was stuck going through some serious hardships.
I can honestly say "This is not an exit" has helped me through the worst of times, even as I type this I get chills thinking about how much that influenced me to keep going through one of the worst times in my life. I'd like to thank them for that for real, and if I ever see them face to face I will personally do that, here's hoping for the April 5th show in pittsburgh is my chance! :D

To Saves the Day: In the song "Rise", what is the clip that is playing in the interlude from? How old are you guys? Are you married or do you have kids? Who is on the Stay What You Are cover?

Yay new tracks. Another birthday present for me.
Every Save The Day record is so different. What is Chris' inspiration and where does his creativity come from? Its very rare for bands and songwriters to have the diversity that he has produced.

Saves The Day:
Now, for the question the band has probably heard tons of times, and dreads hearing again:
Tablature Books, Tablature Books, Tablature Books.
Please guys, please. Any word on those if/when there will ever be any? And for which instruments?
