It will always be about money. No matter how many bands say they do it for the fans, and blah blah, there is always money involved. When it becomes a job not just a hobby, you can't play for fun. I'm not saying bands don't care at all about their fans, but honestly, would you not act a little nicer to fans to get a few more dollars?? This doesn't make me look at Pete any differently. I have no clue what happened here, and quite frankly, it's none of my business. It bothers me this would be posted on the internet for the world to read. I have a lot of sucky "friends" and I don't advertise their "trash" for everyone to see and know. I usually just cut them off, forget about them, etc.

Pete has been nothing but nice, hospitable and friendly to me -- even after their landing number one on TRL, been nominated for Grammys and so forth. I mean, just a cpl weeks ago he gave a listening ear about some problem I was having, and even hit me up a few days later to see how everything turned out. I'm a nobody -- he didn't have to do that. I've also seen this guy, with my own two eyes, stand outside a venue after a show and sign everything kids put in front of him until there were no kids left. All my experiences w/ him have been nothing but pleasant and I'm not going to let something I have no clue about alter my opinion. Until he proves me wrong, I feel he's one of the most genuine, sincere people I know that's in the industry (band member, manager, etc.).

Don't forget there are two sides to a story.
