I know I'm a bit behind on this, but I finally got a computer that is actually capable of playing this game.

It's like FPS heaven. :wow:

You just reminded me of another game I need to download. Thanks Tariq.

But you can't compare AOE3 to a FPS like BF2.

I love AOE type games, so IMO they blow FPS out of the water.

I love my WC3, AOE2, and AOE3.

But for all intensive purposes, you can't really compare.

Mmmm, AOE3 is going to be glorious. Too bad I'm going to be away from my computer all next week for spring break or else my ass would be planted here the entire week.

Empire Earth is my favorite real-time strategy.

My favorite part was that me and my friend made a fake "clan" and then we'd try to recruit people. Then we'd try to cyber with our team.
Hahahaha

You would do something like that Kyle.

I wish I had more time to play! Stupid school and work. I think I'm not going to work out today so I can get some homework done that's due tomorrow and then play all the new games I've downloaded recently.

Well, if you're ever on and I'm on, we can play together. I don't play it nearly often enough, but this might be incentive to start. Haha.

I haven't quite gotten up the courage to play online yet since I just starting playing it yesterday and I haven't totally gotten a feel for the game yet.

I didn't even know there was any other way to play it for the longest time (didn't know there was single player). Pansy. You got to do what we did, just jump right in and tell everyone else how legendary you are and mock them for how terrible they are.
Haha, I hate being a "n00b."

Ok, we recently busted this out again after not touching it for months and months and I still am unable to even connect to the account server. I always get the message saying "couldn't connect, check your network connection and try again." My roommate can play it fine, so I don't think it's any problem with our internet connection or router, so it must be something on my computer. I turned off both Windows and Norton firewalls and I still can't connect to anything. This is gay. Any ideas on what else I could do?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the whole thing and put on the latest patch, and I still get the same problem.
:shrugs:

I played it back in June for a bit, can get really boring and repetitive, especially if you played the shit out of BF1942 (as I did).
