what is good about this band? what do they do that wasnt done better 10000 times by 1000000 different bands last year? listen to Embrace the Ends "counting hallways to left" and then listen to "thrillseeker" they are the same type of deal only ABR's album pails in comparison.

pretty generic metalcore band but the cd is EXTREMELY well produced and makes for a good listening experience. Becoming The Archetypes cd is probably the best metal cd out on Solid State though, now thats a talented band.

Yeah the cd is well produced...but they play just as well live. They put on such an amazing live show.

ABR is a group of very talented young men. I'm not saying every one has to enjoy them, but anyone who denies the fact that they are talented doesn't know much about music.

i believe i like you, so ill just say i strongly disagree regarding this band and if you guys that think this band are talented would listen to other bands who play a similar style...like embrace the end (http://s28.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2YODDADYK8FDC18XXGE5FFEMN D), you will no longer have an appreciation this b-rate shit.

when someone lists "in love and death" as one of their favorite albums ever and tells me i know nothing about music if i think August Burns Red suck my comment is warranted.

Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they suck.

I dig ABR red a lot and have been dying to see them live. I'll be there.
