I smoke cigarettes, and I know about all the dangers about the chemicals and how they will effect me in the long run. Honestly, I do not care. I enjoy smoking, because it makes me feel relaxed. My friends and family yell at me, tell me to quit while I can, well guess what? No can do. I'm old enough to vote, so therefore I'm old enough to make my own decisions and live my life. Don't dictate it for me, or tell me what to do. Nobody is perfect, we all have imperfections, but don't judge me by that.

ok, enough ranting.

but seriously, I wanna know everybody's thoughts on it. Who else out there is FOR smoking cigarettes, and enjoys them?

i tried it when i was younger, i remember smoking camels. and i even experienced clear signs of addiction after like 10 or at most 20 cigarettes. no joke. but then my body defended itself. from like one moment to the other i couldn't even small a cigarette. and it never changed. thus, i kinda hate smoker. it litterally makes me sick if someone smokes anywhere near me.

Oh yeah I get that. When I was a little kid, I would get super sick at my grandma's house because she smoked multiple packs a day, and she smoked in the house.

i used to smoke a pack a day but gave it up after one to many bouts of bronchitis. now just being around smokers upsets my stomach, gives me a headache, tightens my lungs, and makes me stink....so smokers make me mangry.

the only turn off when it comes to being with a smoker is when they spit. God that is the nastiest thing ever. I was on vacation with this guy for almost three weeks, and he smoked nonstop, and every time I went outside with him for a smoke, he would spit every few seconds...it ruined way too many potentially romantic moments.

smoking for is ok for me, i have LOTS of friends who smoke and i admit i'v tried it for one semester in my 1st year of College, just because i was curious as to why the hell is in Cigs that make so many people smoke em?!

but honestly i found nothing good or amusing in smoking, besides that you can make smoke come out of your(LOL, like that's something good) there's nothing good about it.

usually smokers started to smoke because a friend/relative or someone close to them let them try, then they keep smoking em, until their bodies develop a tolerance to it, requiring to smoke more and more and more

an example is one of my friends, he tried quitting, but even for 1 day he just could not resist, he told my that when he did not smoke for about half the day, he's throat would start to ache and when he did smoke after that, the aching would go away, whether thats physiological or psychological, i don't know, but what i do know is smoking really does not have any benefits though i don't mind people wasting their health for nothing

i haven't had a child out of wedlock, i haven't covered my body in poker related tattoos, i'm still in college and have a job so i'm pretty much the "good" one out of the siblings and/or cousins. my parents have told me countless times that i'm the favorite and i rub that in my sisters face every chance i get.

My bunny is fixed and potty trained so he doesnt piss anywhere, but he eats the carpet, and the bed, and my shoes, and everything else (even pills), he has pretty much destroyed our couch. And he's kind of mean, he hit the brush out of my hands when I was trying to brush him, and he always hits the box of raisins out of my hands when I try to feed him. But he's cute so its all good. he's my first real pet, before him i had a pet stick, and three fishes who exploded.

Typically, the darker a cigar, the stronger it is. That's not always the case because there's other things that factor into it, but it's a general rule of thumb.

I'm a smoker. I enjoy the taste of cigarettes and just smoking in general. Yes, I'm addicted, but it's a habit I enjoy at the moment. I already feel some of the effects of smoking though, and it's getting more expensive in Florida, so I'll have to quit sometime soon.

As for the stigma, yeah, there is a slight stigma attached to smoking, and I can't say I blame people for thinking that way, as it's a harmful and smelly habit.

I fucking hate people who are obnoxious about it though, and seize every chance to deride me for smoking. There's no reason for that. I'm polite about it. I only smoke outside, and if someone has asthma or is uncomfortable around cigarettes for some odd reason, I'll smoke nowhere near them. They are basically normal Camel cigs with the exception that they have this 'menthol ball' in the filter. So if you squeeze the filter the menthol taste is set free. You can basically determine if you want a menthol cig or a normal one.

My body is falling apart as it is, I'm not going to live long anyway, I grew up around second hand smoke so it's not like this is causing that much more damage. Plus with all of my "illnesses" I get stressed out, which makes me sicker, and smoking is a quick and easy way to kill that stress.

about the health issue, i really doubt smoking a two or three cigarettes a month will harm me more than all the junk they put in processed foods in the long run :/

I get a lot of things for free, I get cigarettes for free even when I dont ask for them. I'm not sure how I would loose friends though. I'm really anal about my breath, I carry mints, gum, floss, and traveler size mouthwash as it is, and I'm not dating anyone right now so that wouldnt be too much of a problem for me.
I got sick when I was 6, it fucked my whole body up. Even if I tried to be healthy (and trust me, I do and have tried) it's pretty useless when there's nothing they can do to really fix me.

I get a lot of things for free, I get cigarettes for free even when I dont ask for them. I'm not sure how I would loose friends though. I'm really anal about my breath, I carry mints, gum, floss, and traveler size mouthwash as it is, and I'm not dating anyone right now so that wouldnt be too much of a problem for me.

That's what the mouthwash is for, it kills the bad breath germs in the back of your mouth. But I've never really smelled a smoker with smokers breath.

Second-hand smoke is the one of the absolute largest medical myths perpetuated by anti-smoking groups. Which you would know if you did.. uh, what's that called again.. oh yeah, research.

gotcha. yeah, i had my first cigarette on a class trip in the 9th grade but didn't really start smoking until i was 15 or 16. my friends and i would sneak off campus for lunch and go to this little bridge in the middle of the woods near our high school and smoke cigarettes and do other illicit substances instead of eating.

now i'm at the point where i definitely should quit but i'm too unstable/my life stinks too much to go without a vice on a daily basis, so i stick with cigarettes because it could be a lot worse.

That's probably the reason for our differing opinions. Nobody in my family smokes... my Grandpa does, but that's it and he doesn't live in my house. I'm sure I'll probably end up hating it when I get a bit older... my old biggest turn-off in a girl was a smoker, don't know if it still is though.
