But I voted for Commit this to Memory.

I Am the Movie contains too much filler. Those 1-2 minute songs kinda suck.

as an album, i think commit this to memory is stronger. BUT, my two favorite MCS songs are on 'i am the movie' (favorite accident, future freaks me out), but overall I find 'i am the movie' to have a few duds, whereas commit had no duds.

I'd like to have picked Back to the Beat EP. Throw Down and The Here Away are great songs. However, since it was not there, I took I Am The Movie because it has Mary without Sound.

I'm not sure. I think I like them both the same. But currently I am playing "Commit This To Memory" so I'll vote for that one. But if you asked me tomorrow, I'd probably change my mind.

I love both albums, MCS has been one of my favorite bands since I Am The Movie first came out.
Commit this to Memory has some really strong songs (LGFUAD) but it also has alot of songs that came off like fillers. And there wasnt enough moog, which is what sets MCS apart usually.
I Am The Movie is a classic, so therefore it wins

As great as CTTM is, IATM is plain classic. It's up there with TTTYG, FC, TAYF, IKSOSE:3, TBC, and Clarity.

This was a tough one. I love both albums, i think Commit This to memory was a much stronger album. But i have three favorites on I am the movie (cambridge, future freaks me out, and my favorite accident). i can't wait to see these guys. Their new stuff is going to be great

Yeah, I have to go with "I am the movie". It has all my favorite MCS songs, I love "autographs and apologies" and "Perfect Teeth". I only like some of the songs on Commit this to Memory, the songs i like are amazing, but it just didnt do it for me like IATM did. Love this band, and cant wait for the next release.

If it's truely an issue of album, Commit This to Memory is more cohesive. But there are more standout songs in I Am the Movie, even if they don't nessacary flow well as a record. IATM wins with Perfect Teeth, My Favorite Accident, AOK, Don't Call It a Comeback, and the Future Freaks Me Out.

Modern Chemistry and My Favorite Accident are probably my two favorites. But all of them are good.

Seriously, that was the hardest descion I had to make in a long time.

Both cds are amazing, but I chose I Am The Movie because that cd made Motion City Soundtrack my favorite band. Commit this to Memory showed me why Motion City is my favorite band.

Also, I Am The Movie songs live are the best.
