AbsolutePunk is always so late on real news (Punknews.org seems to always beat them on major releases), and then they post about random crap that has nothing to do with music or punk. Whatev.

When people say they don't like anti-flag because every song is about politics, i hope they someday realize that's a terrible excuse.
There is an infinite supply of bands that DON'T sing only about politics. Having one who does is not a bad thing. It makes them somewhat unique and they are damn good at it.
And If that's all they want to write about, especially because they think it's important, then good for them. That's why they formed the band in the first place and called it ANTI-FLAG. Why should they have to change for you?
Also, how can anyone say they liked past albums but not this one because its all about politics? This is how all of their albums have been. There may be the token "one non-political song," but if not, that doesn't ruin the rest of the album.
I swear, some people have no logical capabilities.

"fuck the world, lotta people gotta die tonight! whoaaaaaaaa whoa! whoaaaaa!"
I think it's guaranteed that this song or "Hymn For The Dead" will be one of their next singles. And they'll blow up.

you're right. i thought about it after i posted. I love Rage Against the Machine and they sing about politics in every song. I just think I don't like this album in particular. I think I USED to like their other albums. I'm just not into hearing about politics in every song. More power to them if that what they want to do though. It's just not for me. I don't agree with Bush like many people, but its become such a big trend that I am tired about hearing about it. I guess we can blame Bush for making so many topics for bands to sing about.
