Yes, we're a metalcore band, but I'd love some of your thoughts. We just posted a rough mix of a song off our up coming CD "Penuel" and I'd love to hear you're thoughts on it.

I do all of them except for the singing in War Hammer and Al Gorier. I do the Yelling/Talking dealio in Sweater. So yes, screaming and growls.

Well I like it for the rough mixes you've got up. I was expecting something like Sleeping Giant/Hands for sure since you jock them so hard haha.

Haha, not going to lie, vocally and show performance wise both bands have influenced me a lot, and it shows through on the CD, but no one in the band really has the same taste in music, so writing was... interesting.

Yeah, He's a machine. Unbelievably talented. He's going to school for drumming, and I seriously believe when TZSG is all said and done, He'll probably be the only one to continue with music as a career.

Well we're done at the end of this month, because three of us are heading seperate directions for school. I'll be down in Chicago, but if I find a band I would absolutely love to continue. Its just a matter of finding the instrumens and whatnot, so who knows.

Edit: I should put that one of the reasons I finally made this thread was because we're done soon. The album is going to be put up for download and I know a few people may or may not enjoy the CD.

Yeah, I'm doing good. Finally getting out of here in August haha. I'm stoked we're finally getting it finished, and I'm really happy with the quality and how it turned out. I think we're all pretty dang pleased with it.

It was all screaming before and we are going all singing now.. and now its just a 4 piece.. I am the new bassist and and its a new guitarist but the drums and vocalist are the same still.. our drummer like yours got accepted to a music school but turned it down to play music in stead of move away.

We've been done as a band for a while now, and the Christmas song was meant to be a bit... generic.

I think you're missing the point with the book reference, it wasn't like ZOMG! The Devil Wear's Lay Dying The Day! Actually most of us aren't the biggest fans of those bands :shrug:
