View Full Version : Unknown bands of Warped Tour. Who succeeds and who flops?

In it's fifteen year history, there has been many "unknowns" that have graced one or more of the Warped Tour stages. Some of them have gone on to be successful (All Time Low, FTSK, Four Year Strong) while many have not.
This year is no different.
One such band that is playing this year is Say Vandelay (www.myspace.com/sayvandelayrocks (http://www.myspace.com/sayvandelayrocks))
Will they follow in the footsteps of success?
Or will they fail miserably to be forgotten as so many others?

What do you think?
Any other bands that fall in this category?

Im not talking about groups of people who perform karaoke...
besides The Millionaires and BrokenCYDE get enough publicity as is. They are actually one of the biggest (albeit negative) stories of all Warped Tour. [No such thing as bad press]

Im talking about people that sing and play instruments.

This Century played at Warped Tour as a not so well known band and I'd like to say that they are definitely making their way up. They were on tour with Good Charlotte during February and March as well as Forever the Sickest Kids. They are currently on tour with Go Radio, Sparks the Rescue, and Select Start. I went to the show in Des Moines a week ago and it was a good time! Their fan base is really growing by each show of theirs I go to. If you want to check them out for yourself tickets are available at www.districtlinestour.com for this tour. They played a lot of new songs off of their Sound of Fire album ( available at www.thiscenturyband.com or iTunes). They have had a lot of success this year including this new debut album and music video. I know each one of the songs on their album has been racking up the play counts on my ipod :)
