An interesting poll is up in which people vote their favorite sport on Espn.com, NFL is kicking the living shit out of everyone else. I personally think that football is becoming America's new pastime. Anyone else think so?

yeah, NFL is far and away the sport of America. Baseball is by no means declining ...it's just not growing at the rate the NFL is.

it probably is the most popular sport in america but in my opinion there are better sports then football

My order of favorite leagues is NHL (i'll always stay loyal to hockey), MLB, NFL, then the NBA.

But yeah I'll agree that the NFL is the new favorite league in America. One reason is that people who aren't die hard sports fans can still enjoy football cuz they only need to watch once a week. Some people don't like to watch a game every night (like baseball) or even a few times a week (like the NHL or NBA).

i'm a hockey kid, so i prefer that over football. but the NFL is right there with MLB as my 2nd favorite. although, i like college football more than pro.

football is America's sport. Baseball is America's past time. You have a catch with your dad using a baseball before a football.
