Rap can be decent.. until you discover what's behind it...
all rap is is a little bit of computer generated drum beats along with a synthesizer and some cranked up bass... the rapper just talks into a microphone, simply sounding like he's reading a lifeless poem...
To me, this shows that Rap requires no true talent (unless you are free-styling on a street corner.. thats cool.. cuz u have to have rhymes in your head like whoa!)... Hell, some dude could walk up in some funky looking clothes with a bandanna around his head while grabbing his balls and say he's a rapper and the people of the rap community would believe him as soon as he said a single rhyme!

yeah but it doesnt matter because rap is supposed to be fun music. i really dont care what people say, all the rappers will always be more talented than good charlotte.

it is extreamly aparent that you have no musical credibility becuase if you did you would know that there is indeed rap or more specifically hip hop, that involves LOts of tallent and intellegence , that you my friend will never obtain

sorry about that.. i was just nailing a lot of the stuff i hear.. as a drummer, i'm just thinking from that perspective... a lot of rappers have these simple computer generated drum beats behind them..
after stating that, i would like to rephrase what i said.
What i really meant was, as a drummer, i hold no interest in Rap because most of the drumming is very simple and most of the time is generated by a computer.... a final point is that it just doesn't hold my attention....
Its incredible how someone in this culture can become popular while singing in a monotone about doing drugs, objectifying women and how its somebody's birfday? Everytime I think about turning on the radio, just the though of 50 cent and Avril quickly remind me.

SOME rappers have talent. I hate Eminem but at least he can write well. I hate 50 Cent, he sings without opening his teeth. And do these people realize his moronic lyrics. It's your birthday?!!!! What the hell is that?!!!! Maybe I'd like rap if they sang about stuff besides cars, excessive sex with strangers, their jewels, and how tough they are. I guess people could say punk sings about nothing but girls, but at least most of it is stuff we could relate to!
