Pretty sure Kara did. Game seems pretty pointless and boring. I saw a kid flying on a skeleton dragon for three hours in class one night. Didn't even do anything.

I see alot of people get it all set up and then quit before level 30. Leveling is insanely boring unless you have friends to level with. Long time players will say that the game starts at level eighty and they're pretty much right. Everything up till then is learning how to use your class effectively to be an efficient raider and get the best gear when you hit eighty. Yes, sometimes you see people doing nothing for an insane amount of time but usually people will try to find a group for something for a half hour tops and then quit for awhile. And then theres the people that take the game wayyyy to seriously and make it no fun but other than that I've enjoyed it.

Hear, hear. My school was like one big party machine. Wasn't my scene so I mostly became friends with some kids who were into this. I actually didn't start playing until Christmas but most of my Friday night memories are playing Call of Duty 4 in my friends room with four or five of us on separate TV's and screaming at each other. Shit was so cash. Some might say sadly, but those were my favorite memories of high school in general and they pretty much all came from the last two year. Wouldn't change it for the world though. I'm going to miss them next year, save the one who's rooming with me at KSU.

WoW was my life for about 4 years. My prime and favorite was vanilla WoW(Pre-BC). BC was alright, I played until we killed Illidan then quit until 2 months ago when I got wotlk. I got to 80 then quit a few days later and I've been having the craziest urges to play..let's see if I give in.

I had a 75+ priest (forget exactly where) and a 72 DK and some other high levels. But all my friends stopped playing and then it got pretty old. Plus it's a huge ripoff. If I ever play again I'll start over fresh doing the recruit a friend shit which is a sweet deal.

I also heard you can get mounts at level 20 now? Fucking stupid man.

I used to play up until 2 months ago. I had a 67 Undead Rogue(Assassination) and a 20 Undead Warrior. I keep wanting to play again but then I remember I'm 67 and I STILL don't have a guild and there's no point in getting to 80 if you have no guild to raid with.

I think WoW lingo is so ridiculous. Twink, rolling, toon, etc. I never got it, haha. I play a little bit but I have a feeling I'm going to let my subscription expire. I like the game I just don't feel like putting the time or money into it.

Yeah I heard that was on the new patch. Plus all Heroics drop conquest emblems making all those hours in Ulduar pointless. Every time little kids complain about things being too hard Blizz gives in and nerfs everything

My druid's almost 80 now, dual specced to Feral PvE and Resto PvP.

Recommend something to me:

Should I stay at 79 and get that set for resil and pvp right away so that I be noob at 80, or should I hit 80 now, and gear up as I go along and get a shitty arena group/wintergrasp/bgs at 80 with shitty gear at first?

79 pvp or 80 pvp basically. I know the set for 79 would only cost like 300g, and it would make me pretty good at 79, but it would virtually worthless after, and if I were 80, I could start getting geared with heroics and whatnot as I PvP.

Too many choices.

By the way, Death Knights take all the fun out of the game. Vanilla WoW had far more quality and substance and I miss it.

My druid is my main, we're on Twin Valks in TOC on Hard Mode on 25. 10 man I've killed every hard mode cept Yogg0 and Algalon(mainly due to the new content and lack of interest).

I used to play this until I realized to what extremes people will go to hack your account for spamming purposes so I hung it up. I might start playing again for the new expansion though, I'd like to see how the world is changed.

Really? I loved leveling my warrior, I did have recruit a friend on both my mage and warrior though and I dual boxxed the warrior with a resto druid.

My most boring class would be my rogue, so boring in PvE and PVP is so easy imo, just spam and run in and out of your target so they cant hit you properly and cloak of shadows (skill) just makes it that much more easier. I have been arena-ing in 2v2 with a mage/lock combo atm and that hard lol especially when we get a rogue/anything else team. We have made it to 1100 rating so far, we arent the best pvpers and play the game for fun unlike most people who think getting above 2k means you have actually really accomplished anything :P but we still do alright but we always get matched up with the worst teams. (rogue/feral druid, Holy Pally/DK, rogue/extremely geared hunter etc.)

I have kinda stopped playing my warrior atm though, I got over doing H TOC for the 30th time and getting no edge of ruin/marrowstrike and my server is very horde dominated and hes a gnome warrior so it can take a good 3 hrs to find a grp for H TOC so i have decided to wait for 3.3 for cross server LFG.

Quit the game early summer after 2 and a half years and have no urge to go back to it, maybe when the next expansion is out but I'll probably have way too much work to start up again.

I have been on and off since 2005 but havent really played since June. My account got hacked this month with this fucking battle.net switch and all my characters were stripped and transfered. I called Blizzard asking about it and everything got restored to how it was, and they even threw in a few things that weren't mine. Then after all of that... the account got banned for selling gold (obviously due to the hacker).
Kind of hard to give a shit about any of it anymore.

Blizzard really needs to work on the security of the game considering how many people's accounts get hacked into. It really ruins the game.

Nice! Yeah like if I were to send you an email and you use the link in the email to create an account then our accounts will be RAF linked. The perks of RAF are 3 times the xp for everything (quests, kills, etc) and we can summon eachother from anywhere in the world with an hour cool down.

I lost the cds to WoW and BC, so I'm redownloading those two from the site (which won't take forever, WoW is already almost done), so my old account has BC status. I don't want to lose that by upgrading the new account or anything, so how can I get the new character on my main account? Or what's the best way for me to go about this? Sorry if I'm being really confusing haha

when you make your new account with the RAF make sure it's on the same battle.net account as your main account. once you get to 60 on the RAF account it'll cost 25 bucks to transfer that character to your main account.

I don't know how to do that haha. It asked me for my battle.net account when I went to view my account, but I didn't have an email or anything, I just used the username I remembered.

alright here's what you'll have to do then. go to battle.net, create an account, and once you do that you can merge your world of warcraft account with that account and voila. you'll do the same thing with your new RAF account.

your account is only going to have vanilla on it so you can't make blood elves or draenei, and you can't access outland or get past level 60. Now when you first make it, it will be a trial account and you'll have to upgrade it to full which costs 20 bucks. Until you do that you can't get mail or trade with others, which sucks because you really need gold with RAF since you out level the spells you're supposed to be learning, but it's all good if you've got a higher level feeding you gold.

agreed, i've been so bored lately and everytime i think about starting fresh the world just feels empty since most everyone is 80, so it's boring.

I'm thinking the less-expensive route would be to just start over with a new character for the leveling guild and play with you, unless you were talking about using RAF characters for that too.

I don't really care if we do the RAF or not, as long as I've got someone to play with haha. It does get pricey using RAF, especially when you already have a main account. So it's totally up to you. Hopefully other people here in ap.net will join in with the leveling guild..... i mean there's so many people here, there's gotta be at least some wow players.

Yeah i can do that I'm pretty sure, which will be nice since my sub just ran up yesterday and i dont get my paycheck til friday, and the bank won't process it til tuesday. haha, so that's convenient
