Head Automatica (www.headautomatica.com) posted a new song titled, "Graduation Day" on their Myspace.com (www.myspace.com/headautomatica) page. The guys have finished recording their new record, Popoganda, with producer Howard Benson. Read an update from Daryl below.
"Greetings & Salutations friends! This is Daryl Palumbo and it's 30 degrees & slushy outside. I'm writing to let you know that we in The Head Automatica Youth Hostel have just completed our second full length album entitled, Popaganda (Produced by Howard Benson). We're so antsy to let you all hear it, that we've decided to give you a piece. The tune we'd like to share with you is a song called "Graduation Day" (head over to myspace.com/headautomatica for it). We do hope you enjoy it. Our good friend, Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance sings some back-ups on it as well. We shall see each of you when we roll through your town in the next few months. Be there. We will. Till then, It's Graduation Day. Put on a fucking coat. Kiss. Daryl."

Umm... so they just decided to go ahead and stop doing everything that made them good? That sucks, I loved Decadence.

Please link through the download page next time :), I modify locations randomly, so that link dies occasionally, plus it's better net practice ;)
i like it, more fun than the demo version.
and this album is gonna be pretty different from decedance from what i've read/heard. which is good in a lot of ways, i guess, as long as people keep an open mind.
I like it yet like others its just not Decadance, which in the long run will probably be a good thing. I just kinda liked the polished yet dirty hard pop with a lovely disco infusion feel that Decadance had...alot.
Really good.
Yes, it's more "radio friendly" and "poppy".
Who cares.
EDIT: Took me a while, but I finally remembered who this sounds like now.
SR-71. Their big hit album with "Right Now". Reminds me a lot of a couple songs on that album.

Yeah, it's not as dancey or edgy as some of the stuff on Decadence, but it's still a great tune with a hook the size of Texas. And imagine how much fun this will be live...
