Surprised to see no one created a thread for this band.

Andrew Volpe is a great song writer, and their songs have some of the catchiest hooks I've ever heard. Plus the musicianship in the songs is great as well. The Broken Bride concept with the zombies and pterodactyls was awesome, and You're Awful, I Love is a great album.

This band is so underrated, and they need their own appreciation thread.

My friend won a contest to have them play like 4 or 5 songs acoustic at his house. I was lucky enough to be there. They were awesome. And we got them to play Girls On Trampolines, which was a big treat.

I was raised on musicals (thanks to my Mom) so Ludo kinda appeals to the little Hugh Jackman inside me.

Oh, and Go-Getter Greg may be my favorite song on I Love You, You're Awful. That or Lake Whateverthehellitscalled.

I saw them on Spitalfield's last tour. They were pretty good live and have some catchy hooks, but I only liked a few songs off that new album.

Yes they are. I was listening to the Broken Bride EP a couple weeks ago, I think it's officially my favorite EP of all time. So fucking perfect.

I listened a few times and they grew on me, but on first listen I didn't really dig them. There's more of an alternative rock feel than the Ludo I fell in love with.

Is it wrong for me to love prepare the preparations more than you're awful i love you? It felt like You're awful was a safe first time outing on a new record label whereas this album is bursting with uniqueness.

Either way, this is a great album. Will buy!

I am currently in one of the most ridiculous arguments on facebook. My friend doesn't like Ludo, just because he thinks volpe is a douche. I told him it's okay to not like them, cause it's opinion. he then said they were cheesy. again, his opinion. i don't agree, but cant knock it. then I busted out "Faith No More is cheesy as hell", and he got mad. He really likes FNM. Then creativity was brought up, yadda yadda yadda, it's just ridiculous.

May I also add, my friend thinks a7x is God's gift to mankind. Kid is hardcore into progressive and virtuoso. It's like I'm arguing with a brick wall.

Last nights concert was incredible. They sound amazing. Volpe is awesome. Dancing the Whipped Cream dance to Whipped Cream was so so good.

Bump. I've been getting way into the new album lately, and it's climbing my AOTY charts. I really hope at some point they put out a full length concept. I'm sure they're one of the few rock bands that could pull it off extremely well.

Started recording a bit into "Love Me Dead". They played it acoustically in the middle of the crowd after insisting that we sit on the ground and "shut the fuck up". What an awesome concert. I will never get tired of seeing Ludo live. Their show is awesome and the banter in between songs is hilarious.

Saw them yesterday, and they were beast! The played love me dead acoustically IN the audience. We all had to sit on the ground and sang along. IT was EPIC.

I had always loved Love Me Dead but never looked into them any more than that, I regret not doing that, You're Awful, I Love You is fantastic.
