he's been fairly impressive over his last few games. averaging about 20 mpg right now. he's getting around 8 ppg, 6 rpg, and 2 bpg while shooting 64% from the field.

already in tonights game in 13 mins he's got 6 points and 8 boards. i think if he can continually get 25 to 30 mpg. and start learning what its like to get some PT, that him and dwight howard could be a pretty good tandem down in the low post in a couple of years.

i dont understand why they dont just let him start. its not like they could get worse. or can he not play a full game?

im sure he could. but i think they're just building his stamina up. this is a guy who's only played three games over 20 mins his entire career. i think he'll begin starting soon.

i'm glad he finally got out of Detroit. the kid MUST be able to play, otherwise no one would have even considered drafting him - let alone drafting him ahead of Carmelo Anthony (and was Chris Bosh in that same draft also?)

I was kinda sick of hearing the media make Darko jokes, I want him to succeed now that he's in Orlando.

the kid is still super young and has never been given a chance to improve...he's still got a legitimate shot to be a good one

totally agree with the last two statements.

I'm so happy he's finally seeing some PT. If Detroit wasn't going to play him, why didn't they stick him in the NDL and let him get some PT? Never understood that this year.

So if he hates them, why not send him off your team and let him get some playing time?

i guess if you have a number 2 draft pick, it would look like a bad pick to send him down. there's a method to the man's madness...i can't say i understand it though. not like sitting him on the end of the bench makes it look like any better of a pick.

all i know is if i got drafted by brown, i'd consider the next 3 years of my life nothing more than a front row seat.

i haven't had a chance to see him recently, but i knew the guy had to be good, no one gets drafted number 2 at age 18 from europe if he doesn't have some serious skill, if he develops into a 20/10 type player (definately possible) him and howard would wreck, think about the last time their were two awesomely skilled 7 footers on the team, the twin towers in san antonio, robinson and duncan, they were amazing, and brought a championship to SA

duncan was amazing. and duncan brought them that championship. d rob could never get them past the western conference finals. duncan was the man as soon as he entered san antonio.

but i do agree on howard and darko...they could be dangerous in a few years.

david robinson is one of the most overrated players. i cannot stand all the talk about him helping lead san antonio to a championship.

and Darko is a beast. he just needed a chance. I hope he averages 25 ppg 12 rpg for a career.

I will make predictions on Darko's future when the season ends as for now, I'll sit back and enjoy caleb's statements

overrated?! the guy averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks for his career, and the only reason the points total is so low is that he passed the reigns to duncan his last three or four seasons, the guy is responsible for single handedly turning around a franchise, duncan didn't bring them the championship, if duncan was be himself, there was no way they were getting past shaq and the lakers
