now that Francis is in NY, it looks like he's going to stick Nate Robinson on the end of the bench for good. Nate's only played in 1 game since he won the Dunk contest, and he's sat out 5. I really hope he gets traded to somewhere where he's not behind Francis, Marbury, and Crawford. I mean FUCK, NYC has 4 shooting guards stuck in PG's bodies! All 4 of those guys are shoot first, pass later PGs. Unreal.

boo hoo. the knicks suck. a 5'7" point guard can't prove himself.
in all seriousness, i love isiah thomas. that man is just amazing. he's done a stand up job of destroying new york basketball, and for that i commend him. i really really hat ethe knicks, and seeign them at worst in the NBA is glourious

when he's gotten pt this year he's been exceptionally well for a rookie.

yeah, he's even suprised me, and I'm one of his biggest fans. He's been insane from 3pt range.

i agree he's beyond exceeded my expectations (which were liek 2 mpg, 0.5 pts) and i really thiought they knicks had wasted a pick with him. i just thought he was too small and wasn't a good enough shooter. he must have worked very hard last summer to be playing as well as he was.

nate's one of those special players in which size isn't really an issue for him.

Haha yeah. "i thought they wasted a pick on him." Cracks me up how he pretended to be an expert on the situation and didn't know the Suns drafted him.

As long as Thomas has a job with the Knicks I will continue to pretend they're not even a nba franchise. What he's done with that team is terrible and it's beyond me how he still has the job, even ignoring the fact that he shouldn't have gotten it in the first place.

i didn't pretend to be an expert at all. all i did was be sarcastic about how the knicks suck and that i'm loving the knicks sucking. i never claimed to be an expert.
BTW what i said about his shooting was based on me watchign him in college. I consider myself competent enough to discuss college holops in detail, but i havent given a shit about the NBA since jordan retired the first time

that's what annoyed me about ESPN's headline saying "oh, since the dunk contest iguodola has skyrocketed and nate robinson has been a waste." He hasn't even gotten a chance to play since the all star break, so how can he be a waste?

you don't understand the new york media. it's so much fun to hear people complain about how bad the knicks are. more people care in new york becuase they absolutely suck, than they would be if they were the pistons.
i really can't explain it, but i know i said i hate the nba, but i really don't. I find it so lifeless and dull. theres no passion in it, which is what i absolutely love about college ball. the knicks are the poster child of lifeless fans. most of the knicks fans are suits, just like any other new york team, except the rangers and yanks-sox games.

actually knicks fans are some of the most loyal...even when they suck.

well of course because if they weren't they wouldn't be talking about how much they hate isiah and how much he sucks at beigna GM. If they weren't loyal they would be fair weather fans, who didn't say a word about how bad they are. I never said fans deserted the franchise, they have true fans. all i said was people care more when they suck.
To clarify my "suits" and "lifeless" claims, there is a huge corperate crowd at MSG and every NYC sporting event. every game is just about closing a deal for a number of the people in the seats, and as a result of that people don't care how the knicks play.

I have always wanted to see this. I would have loved to see Texas play the Lions, or USC play the Texans, Duke play the Knicks, Uconn play Charlotte. I know baseball teams sometimes do it, the Flordia Marlins actually lost to Miami a couple years ago.

maybe you should watch an NBA game with your eyes open next time.
try watching AI or Paul Pierce. tell me both of them have no passion.
people might not like AI but that dude tries HARD every single night.

you're right, it was wrong of me to speak in absolutes. the majority of the game just looks like players going through the motions. I have the upmost respect for a number of players, including both of those that you listed.

Go watch a Knicks game from the 90's at the Garden. Then come back. And if possible, kick yourself in the balls.

It really isn't my fault you seem to have an extremely difficult time expressing a simple thought, and that it took a dozen people calling you out on being complete dullard before you actually got the point you were supposedly making in the first place.

eh it was like 2:30 in the morning and i wasn't sober, i thought it made sense at the time.
Both of the quotes you made bold really have nothing to do with the past, only the present.
About people not caring how the knicks play, I was refering to the above average number of buisness people that frequant knick games and don't contribuate to making MSG have much of an atmosphere.
Turn on WFAN (biggest sports radio station in the tristate area), and all you hear are people talking about how bad the knicks are. People care more when they suck. I think it's that way it is just about everywhere
