Everlong is the best song ever written in the history of human kind, so i have to with that.

Their self titled and theres nothing left to lose gets honourable mention

Jesus...not one person who has posted thoughts has said self-titled yet? I can't believe that...

I know for me it was one of the first albums I ever purchased, but beyond that it's just a fantastic album...nearly flawless rock music. TCATS is also awesome, but self-titled is just flawless.

I know many have said it already but Everlong is one of the greatest songs of all time. Also Hero is another great song so The Colour and the Shape takes my vote.
On a side note.. i got in a fight with my friends about how Dave Grohl is one of the best rock stars ever, he is the man.

the song the colour and the shape is incredible on its own...every song on TCATS is absolutely perfect but every foo cd is remarkable in its own way......

The Colour and The Shape strictly because of "Everlong". That is seriously one of the best songs ever written. Really it's up there with "Stairway to Heaven".

Colour and the Shape has so many great songs! just amazing! Hey, Johnny Park!!!! woo hooo! that is a balls out rock anthem to me. lets not forget about Monkey Wrench too. and of course, as said numerous times... Everlong is the greatest song ever.

i'm a fan of all the Foo albums, but Colour and the Shape is so important to me. its up there with Weezer (blue) and Dookie... i consider those the big three of my youth. those albums have inspired me more than anything.
