what a game. so glad to see GW win because it wouldn't fucked them over royally in terms of seeding for the NCAA tournament. Teams like them, Gonzaga, Bucknell ..they don't get a 2nd chance. You lose one, you fall far.

can a ref go and review video in order to give a techincal foul?

can a ref go and review video in order to give a techincal foul?I'm pretty sure they can't

well they didn't give a technical foul until they looked at video....they gave technical fouls to both charlotte and gw but gw got the ball when in reality charlotte rebounded the ball during the play that had all the techs.

agreed, it's nice to see refs that know they are human and want to correct a situation. They made the correct call in the end, especially with the 2 elbows

actually, they gave a personal foul to GW, thus why GW ended up with the ball out of that.

Yeah.

Mike Hall (GW) got a personal foul because he had a grip on the Charlotte player's jersey.

the Charlotte player got a technical because he threw not ONE, which might have been allowed, but TWO ELBOWS at Hall.

Charlotte shot their 2 foul shots first because it was just like any other double-bonus situation for them, then they turned it around, GW shot their 2 shots for the technical, and then got the ball.

haha, this weekend was way too much, I spent the entire Duke v UNC game hammered because it was so close and everyone at the party just couldn't leave the screen (except of a few willing people to fill my cup, hell yeah). I watched Belmont win in OT, Charlotte win in OT, Notre Dame make the Big East tourney, and then most of the Duke UNC game, which as usual, was an awesome game.

Thankfully I am xc-skiing tomorrow so I can grab a break from basketball, because today was an amazing yet mentally exhausting day

yeah, it was a good weekend of college b-ball. even though i only saw a very slim part of it. I watched most of the uconn/louisville game and the Nortre Dame/Depaul game. I was hoping depaul would win since Wilson Chandler is a freshman there and he went to High School like half an hour from here in Benton Harbor. Rick Majerus is high on the kid and said that he could contend for conference player of the year next season, the kid's a beast. and i saw the end of the GW/Charlotte game and i missed the whole duke/unc game as i was an hour north watching high school hockey state playoffs.
