Teppei can play the guitar, but i don't think he's a musical genius like people are calling him. (Unless there's something I'm missing, he writes pretty standard riffs) but Steve Choi creates original, unforgettable riffs, drawing from countless influences.

kris norris from Darkest Hour. the band wrote the same song 20 times before Kris joined. then he rewrote for the soul of the savior and its absurd solo. the new stuff on undoing ruin is a showcase of his talents. he absolutely tears it apart in this will outlive us but then pathos and ethos come into play. the way tranquil is written is almost like a nod to old iron maiden song.

Steve Choi is one of the most shredding guitarists , the fact that so few people know of his skills saddens me.
I saw the sound of animals fighting shows and I can only say Choi > dragonforce it was that good
