just got the Distractions EP by the Loved Ones and there is a bruce springsteen cover of johnny 99, my favorite bruce song. it is atrocious.

I have not heard it, I will look it up... about 80% of all the covers I have heard are just bands trying way too hard.

I highly recommend it. It sounds so different to the original, but it sounds good as well.

In my opinion the worst cover on the album was The Cab's. Maybe because I was all hyped up for it, maybe because they totally sound atrocious and don't sound like themselves at all.

In my opinion the worst cover on the album was The Cab's. Maybe because I was all hyped up for it, maybe because they totally sound atrocious and don't sound like themselves at all.
I felt that the Breath Carolina and Attack Attack covers were the worst, The Cab's cover came out exactly as I expected it to.
