i wrote this because i was pissed about how all the beach shops and stuff were all selling american flag shit to exploit it. it would be cool if they donated that money to charities and stuff, but they just keep it for themselves and it pisses me the fuck off.

when the part-time patriots arrive at the scene
wearing their pins like they’re proud of something they did
by buying in to whatever they’re fed
the wars on tv are just home entertainment
so it back and enjoy the show
in fact… why not watch it one more time?
