Debate between I-Empire and We Don't Need to Whisper. I personally have to go with We Don't Need to Whisper because of "The Adventure" and "The War" have kept me going through the album when I listen to it. Not saying I don't like the other songs on the album, but those are great songs and I wish Tom could have done those songs with blink.

I-Empire, with the exception of Sirens is horrible.

Definitely Whisper but like I've said before.... I pretty much think this man can do no wrong so I love both albums a lot.

i like I-Empire better, had a few more catchier songs with some good hooks n soaring choruses

Whisper, because that "Everything Is Magic" song bugs the hell out of me.

I-Empire has some real decent songs, Heaven, True Love and Call To Arms. But We Don't Need To Whisper has The Adventure and The War so it wins
For all the stick they get, I actually really do enjoy their music. It's great to have on in the background whilst I'm working. Admittedly the songs do sometimes blur into one and they all sound very similar... but I still like them.
I-Empire is probably my favourite. Mainly because that was the first album I got. I do enjoy We Don't Need To Whisper a lot though.

Both good, Whisper wins I think.

We Don't Need To Whisper just because it was after the blink breakup and I think it had more emotion in it. Also AVA was supposed to be some progressive rock type of band and I-Empire wasn't a progression from WDNTW.
I-Empire. I just enjoyed it more.

I have a question for people that listen to Angels & Airaves and this is probably the best way to ask fans of them, what type of genre would you call AVA's music besides alternative rock? Me being a fan of their's I have been wondering about that for awhile.

I-Empire. I love both albums from start to finish though

We Don't Need To Whisper was one of the greatest debuts of a side-project (and yes, I'll call them that) ever. I-Empire was good, but didn't give justice after how good the first album was.

That is definitely a bold statement if I have ever heard one and in retrospect, I have to agree with you, despite what people have to say.

I couldn't get past the intros on Whisper to give it a fair listen, and I never listened to I-Empire.

Yeah I know what you mean, but there are some really good intros like The Adventure, The War and Distraction gets really good after thirty seconds or so.

gonna get a lot of hate for this but i really prefer angels and airwaves to blink-182 any day of the week. I use to love blink, i saw their last show in Canada before they broke up. But angels and airwaves was more mature and took more of musical epic journey. That being said though angels and airwaves is not great. Blink-182 I'm kinda happy their back but could really not care about their simple music anymore. I want me some more Boxcar Racer. BOOYAHKASHA!

Okay, I just want to say, if you don't like the band, please don't comment. I put this poll down because I love this band and what it means to me, it sends me a positive message. It's weird for me because I love Blink, but without what happened a few years ago, this band wouldn't be around. I am not trying to cahnge your opinion of them and I know people hate them, but to me they send a message to people like me and helped me out through the darkest times of my life. I just wanted to put that out there.

They are the same album.
But I voted WDNTW because they hadn't already released it when it came out.

I'm not really sure how some people can say i-empire was terrible and Whisper was good. They're not different enough for that. I went with i-empire, though The Adventure is def their best song.

WDNTW, because the follow-up was too much of the same for me
And I think "spock rock" is the best name for it.

WDNTW is amazing with the exception of It Hurts, which sounds like a really shitty blink B-Side that was airwaved.

God, this made me laugh.
We Don't Need To Whisper, easily. I've never even given I-Empire a fair chance, and I'm proud of myself for that.
