The only people that like American healthcare are are Americans because it is the only healthcare they know of. People like Rush Limduhhh and Glenn Dick are making people think that Canada's healthcare is corrupt and if you get a cold you have to wait 6 months to see a doctor when in reality America has just as long of wait times unless you are paying cash then the doctors will see you the next day. Convenient huh?

What are you talking about? I have a sinus infection and I got a doctor's appointment within 3 days.

I understand what you are getting at, but your statement loses credibility when you do this. It's along the same lines of conservatives criticism of "President Odumbo".

you would be correct. I guess it is just frustration because of the lack of people who are informed in this country.
Not that I sound any better but at least i get informed with facts I just need a better way of presenting them
Justin Bieber gives his opinion (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/02/16/justin-bieber-takes-on-evil-us-health-care_n_823942.html) of the U.S. health care system:
canada's healthcare system, while better than the u.s., is far from perfect and is in need of reform as well. yeah, they can lord it over us all they want but they're still below countries like the u.k. and france.
also, bieber considers himself american now.
"we don't say that in america"

Well, I guess Justin Beiber will never be a geography professor, but I don't think that will hurt his current career...

Hahaha
That is just so fucking sad.
What's even more sad about that video is that they said 11 percent of the ENTIRE student body is pregnant! Assuming the girl/boy ratio is about 50/50, that's 22 percent of the girls at the school! almost 1 in 4...

New retirees can expect to save about 8% on healthcare as a result of the preliminary stages healthcare reform. This act is going to become much more popular as people see the real effects of it.

Rep. Burgess is not a fan (http://www.rollcall.com/features/Health-Care-2011_Policy-Briefing/policy_briefings/-204319-1.html) of the law.

Here’s the thought: when it comes to controlling health care costs, there are a lot of role models out there — because everyone does better than the United States. There are government-provider systems like Britain’s NHS (or the Veterans Administration); there are single-payer systems; there are regulated competition systems.
But what the GOP plans to offer is a plan that broadly resembles Medicare Advantage — a plan that not only failed to reduce costs, but actually ended up substantially increasing costs.
Of course, it’s not really about saving money. And that’s the point.

if the united states spent as much on healthcare per person as other countries do, we'd have huge budget surpluses, not deficits.
