Last night I See Stars played the Hayloft in Michigan, and they were amazing. I've seen them 4 times now, and they played a much better show last night than I have ever seen. They are fine. The reason people don't like them live is because they go into it thinking the vocalist is going to sound JUST like he sounded on record.

sooooooooooooooo. i went last night. in order of performance greatness:

1. A Day to Remember. There's not much to say here, they could've fucking BLOWN last night but with the crowd the way it was, it was a fantastic set.

2. I See Stars. I thought these guys were going to blow, and they fucking rocked it. Should've ended with "Project Wakeup" though.

Tied for 2. Parkway Drive. they didn't really fit in with the other bands, but they kicked ass too. Really got the crowd going.

3. In Fear and Faith. I didn't enjoy them.

Concert's show was unreal. Only got to see Parkway/ADTR due to interviews but both impressed. When I was about to do the Interview with ADTR a guy walked up to the venue and asked if i was with the band or anything[which i obviously said no, and that i was just interviewing them]. He had drove 2.5 hours to the show to find out it was sold out. He caught/talked to the Manager who then talked to Alex and he okay'd them to get into the show. What an awesome thing to do on his park.

In Fort Collins last night, In Fear and Faith played a cover of Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise and ADTR played Why Walk On Water. I can't remember if it was in place of The Danger In Starting a Fire or if it was simply added to the set before it. But they did play it. Otherwise, sets all look the same. The Coolio cover was pretty sweet.

I See Stars had mic problems through their whole set. The lead singers mic kept cutting out and you could see he was getting really pissed. Other than the song he completely gave up on, I felt he handled it well. He apologized to everyone for the technical difficulties and everyone seemed to understand and cheered them on louder.

In Fear and Faith weren't really anything special.

Parkway Drive and ADTR killed it. Parkway Drive is insane. ADTR was their typical selves. Fun show.
