Hawthorne Heights is one of the most lame excuses for a band that I've ever seen in my entire life. I'd rather buy a Spinal Tap cd than listen to their garbage. Stop begging for attention, HH, and make an album that actually sounds decent. Maybe then people wouldn't rip on you so much.

However, it doesn't change the fact that I think HH isn't showing very much talent-especially for all of the coverage they get. They haven't really shown any growth. It's just upsetting that they are one of the biggest names of ROCK (sarcasm) out right now but they aren't very good.

The money spent promoting them would be better with The Junior Varsity, The Audition, June, Silverstein, The Forecast, ect. A victory band with talent should get the victory promo money. HH will sell either way--there are enough kids who will already buy the album. Give the spotlight to someone who needs it and could use it in a positive way. I feel HH gets a lot of the spotlight and it all goes back to victory so a lot of people are like, ''Hawthorne Heights sucks, why should I listen to anything else from Victory?'' And it kind of gives the rest of the bands the shaft. But what do I know? I'm just a consumer..

Oh I completely agree with you, HH is horrible and bands like TJV, June, and The Audition definately deserve a lot more credit and promotion. Plus the fact that we're so lucky to live in IL and get tons of chances to see them and support them.
