Okay, I usually listen to music with the word "punk" in it and T wonder if people actually know the bands on here. I will put an other category because they are some bands that are considered other genres that I wouldn't put down here, btu I want to see how this will turn out. I would put the bands that could be called post-punk now, but that's why I put down the other category.

This is WAY too tough. This is practically a list of my favorite bands. I tentatively went with Talking Heads, but most of these bands deserve it. Good poll.

Thank you. I chose Joy Division because they are the band on here that skip songs on their albums because i think they are all gold.

Close second for me. I personally think Wish is their best album, then Disintegration is a very close second.

It was hard to choose between Joy Division and Talking Heads, but I went with Talking Heads


EDIT: I completely misread Sonic Youth for something else, they definitely win in my book.

The Jam is the first band that comes to mind in terms of Post-Punk. A lot of good bands here, and some I still need to give a shot, I'll admit (Magazine, as well as some Wire albums from that era).

Yeah that is very true. It was definitely hard for me to size it down, but that is why there is an other category.
