Tribute To Edgar Stiles Thread

all of you 24 fans out there witnessed something terrible last night. The beloved Edgar Stiles died due to over-consumption of centox nerve gas. I for one, believed that Edgar was going to lose weight next season and become the next Jack Bauer.

Edgar had his flaws, no doubt, but his heart was always in the right place...under 75 pounds of fat.

His relationship with Chloe was one of the most genuine in TV history, and truly one of the saddest moments ever she watched him die.

RIP Edgar, I'm sure heaven has badass servers.

Stiles graduated from New York University (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_University) with a Bachelor of Science (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bachelor_of_Science) in computer applications. He worked as an intelligence analyst and protocol manager at CTU (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CTU) Los Angeles. His expertise lay in data retrieval and wireless networking. He had a photographic memory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photographic_memory) and was friends with fellow analyst Chloe O'Brian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloe_O%27Brian), who described him as "a geek, but a good guy."
Stiles was shown as a competent, although slightly stodgy, technical analyst. Virtually nothing is known about his life outside of CTU except that his mother died when a nuclear reactor melted during season 4 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28season_4%29).
At 6:59 PM in season 5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28season_5%29), during a Sentox nerve gas attack on CTU, Stiles was returning to the main room after trying to check on a colleague, Carrie, who had gone to check a ventilator system that set off a "trouble flag." He did not make it back to the main room in time, and failed to enter the situation room before it was locked down. He died quickly thereafter. The world of 24 wept for the loss of such a memorable character.

He was the fifth to be honored in this fashion, the first four being Teri Bauer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teri_Bauer) in season 1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28season_1%29), George Mason (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Mason) in season 2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28season_2%29) (when he resigned from CTU), David Palmer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Palmer_%28character%29) in season 2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28season_2%29) (though he didn't actually die), and Ryan Chappelle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Chappelle) in season 3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28season_3%29).

dude...edgar... i can honestly say, he was my fav TV show character of all time, his actor should get a mass amount of work

one of the worst character's in show's history. Annoying, useless, bumbling douche. Adam deserved to be there more than him.
