i totally agree. when i saw the list of bands i kinda went.. "ew." and not because i don't like the bands because i absolutely love treos and noy, but i don't think its time for them yet to be on a superman soundtrack. i think treos and noy, i think some "young people oriented" teen movie. i don't know if i explained that right. your reaction was better said.

but separating the bands from the actual movie... it will serve to make these bands bigger.

It's continuing off the old franchise...hence Superman IV. They always call it Superman Returns...but it's the fourth in the series.
It's ridiculous, they cut out the third movie from the movie franchise's continuity, becuase it was bad...and now they're making a new one?

The Superman movies weren't even that good to begin with. I'm a huge comic book fan, and I personally think this whole comic - to - movie thing is getting out of hand.

On the other hand, I enjoyed Fantastic Four, and thought it was a fun movie, following in the tradition of Marvel's first super heroes very well.
