I am in the market for either (or both) drum shells and some sort of bass amp. Now I am just learning bass as a side hobby, got a really shitty Ibanez bass for cheap and fixed all the wires in it, so I am looking for some sort of amp that maybe is also okay to play in a live setting like a small venue or something just in case I am ever in that pinch down the road and dont have time to upgrade to something bigger.

I also dusted off my old cymbal collection from high school but all my drums are shot to hell, and since I would like to pick up drumming again for the first time in almost 5 years, I was wondering if there were any decently or cheap shell packages out there right now. I am looking to spend anywhere from 300-450 dollars on either. I am not looking for high market stuff or beginner crap (which I know is mostly whats in that price range) but I dont have any plans to play in a band or anything so I dont need to have high priced equipment, I know to search ebay and craigslist, I was justing wondering what brands to look out for, maybe there is a company or product I am missing. Thanks.

I would suggest a combo bass amp. Ive used ampeg and ashdown combos before and i was pretty impressed with them for what they were. They work great to have at your place to jam as well as at shows. I dont know if this is exactly what youre looking for but heres a couple links you can check out if ya want

I bought a 4-piece Gretsch Club Catalina kit for $420. It was the floor model at my local guitar center. It's a great kit, and in your price range if you aren't looking to get new hardware.
