Great CD. Highly recommended.

Give this as a gift instead of the FOB reissue.

Soooooo goooood.

How surprised would you be if I told you BNO covered Lifetime, in the great state of NJ, at a FOB show this fall.. and honestly no one knew who Lifetime was? It went something like:

"We're going to play a song from one of our biggest influences."

(Band plays Daneurysm. No one gives a shit, people boo.)

"That's from Lifetime, give it up for them." No response from any part of the crowd. Not even the lone group of kids cheering.

Upsetting.. but I have a feeling you're not going to be surprised.

That's really sad. Growing up in Central Jersey, not knowing who Lifetime is was a sin.

Yup.

Lifetime and Grade are pretty much the two bands that spawned most of the bands AP users listen to.

Same thing happened when I saw Silverstein butcher a Lifetime song at a Saves The Day show.

"Is this a new Silverstein song?!" -Girl standing next to me.

I think Fall Out Boy should make a cover cd and do all Lifetime, old Promise Ring, Jawbreaker and such and we can watch all the little kids who would jump at the chance to hear Patrick and Pete whine and cry when they buy the CD and realize they are actually listening to some genuine music,

you know i like lifetime, and i'm from central new jersey. but the fact is i was 13 when this band broke up and at the time still confused as to what the hell i was supposed to listen to. my favorite artists were bush and sublime. so i dont think it was a sin not to know who they were- the only reason i found out about them was because of some reviewer for through being cool, telling me that lifetime was one of conley's main influences.
