Obviously ICP, but I also think to a certain extent Radiohead, and even though I listen to quite a few bands that people on this website would call 'poopy myspace core' but the fan base of that genre is so ridiculous. I am into the music (no matter how crappy you insist it is, I still like it) and I hate seing kids come to shows because they can smoke/show off their new skinny jeans and v neck and it is frustrating.

Tool's fan base can be grating, and even the part of NIN crowd that thinks they are the scariest people on earth. and deathcore bands like Whitechapel and Suicide Silence and BMTH. Annoying as all hell

I'm going with Brand New. I would most definitely consider myself a Brand New fan, but the last time I saw them in concert was the largest collection of douche bags I've seen in one place in a long, long time. Also, I saw somebody say Sublime earlier, and I'll one up that to fans of that entire reggae/rock genre with bands like Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, etc. I loved Sublime and enjoy that style of music, but the fanbase is a bad combination of bros and stoners that don't mesh well. I've never left a concert like that that didn't end badly.

Come to think of it, Boys Like Girls have annoying fans. My friend dragged me to a concert a couple of years ago that they played on (I think Cartel headlined, but I don't really remember). Those kids were annoying, but they were pretty funny too (for all the wrong reasons, of course). A bunch of them tried to start a mosh pit and it was one of the more pitiful things I've ever seen. One kid was throwing these crazy looking Karate Kid style kicks while a couple others just flailed around. Plus it was in Florida during Spring Break, so there were a bunch of random bros who showed up because it was something to do, so after watching the Karate Kid for a little while they jumped in which made it even more entertaining.

it was horrible. i love the band to death, but they ended up playing a lot from their latest album the CNV FLA, which ive never listended to beforte. and the kids knew every word to those songs. and at one point, Chris was acknowleging how famous the venure was and pointed at posters of famous artists like the rolling stones and watnot, and then the chunky one kepy yelling WHY DONT YOU HAVE A POSTER. and then there were these two little kids about 5 feet tall, skinny as hell, and were trying much to hard to look pretty and punk at the same time and they would hug whenever a lyric got somber. but aside from them, the show was awesome, as they always are.

lol atl does have some terrible fans. my sis and i were at bamboozle and jack was signing autpgraphs through the fence. these girls were maybe.... 11?12? i mean my sister was 12 but she doesnt act it haha. anyway... the only good thing was that i was taller than them all and could therefore reach over them to get my ticket through the fence for him to sign. nice guy.

I enjoy The Blue Album, Pinkerton, The Green Album and Maladroit. I do agree with you that some people overlook their more recent work before giving it a chance. However, as much as I wanted to like Make Believe, I just couldn't. The Red Album was decent as well, on a par with The Green Album and Maladroit for me.

I have a friend who is like that. He will compare any band that isnt a7x to them. I really like Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, and Waking The Fallen... everything after those albums blow.

I love ST7T and WTF I saw A7X back on warped and love those albums. I consider CoE and S/T to be a different band to be honest. The fan base went from people majority 16+ to 21 and Under, it is ridiculous. I have friends like that too and I want to smack them and tell them to grow up.

Then proceeded to say that he was just going to spend the time before them getting wasted and taking a nap, and for someone to wake him up when they came on.

I've been to two Fall Out Boy shows. The first one was a secret show in Philly, where only around 100-150 kids got in and the stage was TINY. And it was the best night of my life. Everyone was so chill, knew all the songs they played from TTTYG and danced like crazy.
The second one was Bamboozle this year....I was up towards the front, but had to move back because people were pushing so badly and screaming Pete's name and just being generally obnoxious. It was disappointing.

this is kind of a collective group of fans, but people who love anything that pitchfork jizzes all over (animal collective/passion pit/etc...)

there are so many bands/albums that are hailed as the AOTY (merriweather post pavilion) that is really not that great. that album in particular is catchy, and would probably get a straight 70 or so from anyone else, but when pitchfork starting freaking out about it calling it the AOTY like a week into 2009, everyone just jumped on board with them.

I know I've been to many of All Time Low's concerts in Philly and each time I go it seems like the fans get younger and younger, and most of them are just scream " I LOVE YOU _alt band member name_" and flashing them or throwing their bras on stage.....I'm just like please stop it SO annoying.
My friends and I decided after the last ATL show we went to, that if Alex or Jack make any remark encouraging girls (which they did at that show) at another show, we'd be prepared with an old training bra to throw at them that says "Stop encouraging the girls who aren't old enough to make decisions!" But I'm thinking we'll never do that because it's too weird, and we're normally in the back of the crowd.

Any band who most of their fanbase is made up with girls who love one or more of their members. E.g. Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Cobra Starship (yeah, people do like Gabe).
