City and Colour (http://www.myspace.com/cityandcolour) (Dallas Green of Alexisonfire) recently covered Alexisonfire's (http://www.theonlybandever.com) song "Happiness By The Kilowatt" live with only a piano. Oh, I was at the second show in Toronto that he played last Friday and saw him play that as the encore. T'was a very good time.

i listened to the song earlier...amazing, as usual. i'm not sure if i've ever seen this site mention city and colour before...for anyone who's "a sucker for anything acoustic" listen to city and colour...incredible. i'm seeing him next wednesday in guelph!! soo excited!!

I hate how City and Colour doesn't tour in America. Hell, he hasn't even released Sometimes in America yet! I talked to Dallas at an AOF show, and he was like, "My label won't let me release it in America." They probably won't book him a tour in America either.

Dallas is so talented, it is insane, and such a nice guy. I was at the distort showcase and after party this past weekend for Canadian music week, hes a rad guy.

yeah this song is incredible. he said he would like to release an all-piano album in the future. i submitted something about a video of this song on youtube but it never got posted. people are missing out. can't wait to see him again next week.

I hate how City and Colour doesn't tour in America. Hell, he hasn't even released Sometimes in America yet! I talked to Dallas at an AOF show, and he was like, "My label won't let me release it in America." They probably won't book him a tour in America either.
The main reason that he doesnt tour in the U.S. is because his main obligation is to AOF. Dallas named the City And Colour album 'Sometimes' because he only does City And Colour sometimes (meaning whenever he has free time he plays shows). They just recorded the new AOF album, so as soon as Dallas finished his guitar and vocals he started out on the City And Colour tour across Canada while the AOF album is being mixed and mastered.
I'm sure he'll eventually tour in the U.S. sometime in the future.
