It was snowy,
Icy and Cold
Life was young
Its weakness Bold
Walking slowly through the stars
You watched me tear through closed bars
Breaking barriers and filling streaks
Ripping through all that was discreet
I built my castles bold and brave
Sweat and tears had masked my pain
Flying high on dragons wings
only to be torn by reality.
Starting life,
Again,
anew
And you just watched,
your snickers grew
I stumbled,
cried,
Bled in pain
You could only stare,
and walk away.
Their daggers were sharp
Their words were steel,
tearing cuts cross' my soul,
For all to feel.
I left once again,
my heart inwilling,
only to find this new place more thrilling.
I changed so quickly,
Right from the start,
I got my first taste of freedom,
But you ripped that from my heart.
You "watched" me
You "Guided" me,
"Protected" me here,
But really it was just
a mask
For your fear.
Lose control?
You worried.
Go away?
Your soul screamed.
Never would that happen
Your clouded mind beamed.
And now with my love,
all torn up in knots.
you sit back and wonder,
why my happiness rots.
I've grown up this much,
now just let me go
Or i'll never learn more,

My happiness died,

With nothing but false promises,
and minds led astray.
