You can now listen to two new Hoobastank (www.hoobastank.com) songs, "If I Were You" and "Born To Lead", from their website.

the first single was very mundane. i was bored...and they didn't even play an entire chorus cause unless you're "Official Hoobastank Fan Club Members" you can only hear 30 sec. Thanks, but that was plenty.

Does this really belong here? I mean seriously.. these guys blow huge hairy balls. I mean, I listen to some music that I can understand others percieving as sucky. But these guys not only take the suck cake, their moms baked it for them.

I can feel the love. If it helps, they DID tour with Linkin Park and Story of the Year!?!?! Excitement!!!

I went to that show when it hit Atlanta (the Linkin Park Meteora World Tour...P.O.D. was part of it, too). I like all of those bands a lot.

nah all you have to do is sign up for the island email list to hear the songs.

but i love how last time there was a hoob post on this site everyone was praising them and now its a hate post. Oh well, you win some you loose some.

Well the first song, the single, was super homo-fied, so I'm sure they'll sell a million units on that alone. The "born to lead" song was weak too. I was curious and now I'm annoyed...

Fucking hell...this band used to rock. "Crawling in the Dark" and "Running Away" are two of my fave songs ever.

that was an awesome song, although I think my favorite hoobastank song of all time is "tin walls"

here's a little trivia for you: the saxophone solo in Incubus' Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity Love Song) was played by the guy who used to play sax for hoobastank.

"Crawling in the dark" is such a good song. Nobody can honestly deny it. Whether you like it or not, it's a good, clean, catchy rock song.

Hmm... I'm glad they have some new material posted. I'm gonna need to hear more then 30 seconds of it though, to know whether I like it or not.

'if i were you' is awesome. I haven't listened to the other one yet. Some people just hate to hate, others hate for a reason, but you can only ask yourself the true reason you don't like something..

eh, "running away" was decent but that's about it for these boys IMO. they should take up love making.

Im curious what this next disc will sound like. Will they embrace the fame they got with "The Reason" or will they try to break out of that modern rock ballad darlings mold and release some harder stuff. I actually really liked the first single from their last album "Out of Control".
