AMAZING show. It was great to see these dudes on stage for the first time in almost 5 years. For those who can tell, they played a LOT of new stuff. I was a little disappointed they didn't play a single song off "Antenna" (even though their music video for "Inspire" was shot one block away at a local music store). They we're selling their new EP "Planets of Old" only on vinyl. The club was sold out (less than 300 people), and Steve said it was the fastest selling show at that club in history. Adam announced they'd play again come November. Get PSYCHED!

a little disappointing that the set was half new stuff, but I probably would've shit myself I witnessed "Inflatable Dream" live. oh well, stoked for a new album and tour.
A bunch of new stuff, huh?
Fuckin' stoked.

Inflatable Dream was, without a doubt, the highlight of the show but DAMN I was so stoked that they played Luminance. To think that I saw two songs live that I NEVER thought I would get to see is just amazing. I was bummed at first that there was a) no antenna and b) only one Jupiter tune, but hearing that there are more shows to come makes me think that some of those songs will make their return then.

inflatable dream was incredible, and not just because it was dedicated to me heh heh. easily one of their top 5 best songs. and i have been waiting to see luminance ever since i started listening to them 9 years ago so that was fucking amazing as well. what a way to bookend an incredible set.

Ha, that was you? I remember them saying this is dedicated to "blah blah, our biggest fan!" Awesome man, just awesome. Did you see the pictures that one guy on stage was taking from the whole show? They came out awesome and I can even be seen in one of the last few. I bet you're in there as well.
Also, I cannot stop listening to this EP. I wish the cave in message board hadn't been shut down or whatever happened to it. That was the place to chat up cave in.

Yeah I too was a little disappointed we didn't get ANY Antenna. Also, I figured they'd at least play "Jupiter", "Commerce" and "Innuendo" off Jupiter and "Off To Ruin", "Screaming In Your Sleep", and "Paranormal" from Perfect Pitch Black.

Innuendo is my FAVORITE Cave In song and I was super bummed that it was not on the setlist. However, by the end of the show I was as happy as could be. I have seen Jupiter and In the stream of commerce live back in 2004, so I wasn't too bummed on that but damn off to ruin would have back so good.
