I know its a bit early to start talking draft but since my team (Tennessee Titans) did so awful this year its about all I have to look forward too. We have the third pick in the draft and most people are saying we'll be taking Vince Young. Which i think its perfect. Steve recently reconstructed his contract from three down to one year. If steves ops to leave in 2007 during the 2006 season vince can sit and watch steve and learn a bit. Whats your teams draft situation?

not to be a douche, cause i'm generally interested to hear the p.o.v from someone whose team wants to take him ....why are you excited about this?

if the pats were going to take this guy, tom brady or not, i'd be mortified.

I sort of agree...I mean the kid is a crazy talent...the Rose Bowl showed that. But how many great athelete QB's have shown that the NFL can take away their edge if they're not smart enough (Vick, Culpepper)...and Young is proven stupider than both. I'd be scared shitless if this guy was the future of my team.

so it is a black thing? hahah. Did you know Dan Marino scored a 16 on that test. 2nd lowest next to Young and he did alright.

young got a 16 on his retest...which was an exact copy of the first test he took. Just listen to him talk, he's an idiot.

And it's not really a black thing as it is a white's aren't hyped athletically much. Last one was Leaf and well, you know.

it isnt even the wonderlic for me ..it's the way he plays the game. He's a hell of a college QB but he isnt the kind of QB who can succeed in the NFL. Everyone busted a nut over Vick when he came out and what has he done? All we ever hear about is how overrated he is and how he can't get over the hump.

I don't even think Young is as good as Vick either because he isnt as elusive. He certainly isnt more accurate and that seems to be the knock on Vick. Plus, he wasnt even a Top 5 pick until the Rose Bowl ..are scouts really vaulting this guy to the top because he shredded a mediocre USC defense and made a dramatic game-winning play? Tennesee is better off taking Mario Williams.

also, vince young is gonna suck. pick mario williams. it may not be exciting, but neither is a ryan leaf/rick mirer/akili smith type bust

ah, I'm not much of a college football fan. I've just done some research and alot of people are stoaked on him. Another possible pick could be Jay Cutler or Lendale White.

anyone who thinks vince young will be a good pro at QB is delusional. teach that douchebag how to tackle and maybe he can become a strong safety with that speed.

Marcus Vick will be bad too. He WILL get fined/ejected from a game, it's freaking obvious. With the crap he pulls, I wouldn't want him. Santonio Holmes and Sinorice Moss will be good, the Titans need some better recievers.

I bet Marcus Vick would make a better NFL QB than Young, but Vick will be in legal trouble long before he'd get a shot to prove it.

the guy isn't a great scrambler, he can run fast but he is not elusive

Vince Young should go back to WR (I think that's what he used to play), because I don't see him ever having what it takes to lead a team to the Super Bowl.

I heard about Sam Madison..Lavar Arrington too though? Wow. They had a young average defense last year and they played well. Imagine what adding two good players to that mix can do.

vince young is a joke. andre ware comes to mind when there's a gimmicky college offense that has great success and the QB is drafted way above his potential and busts.

On a related note, the lions better take michael huff from texas. i really hope jay cutler's picked way too high so the lions don't entertain thoughts of taking him. hopefully, they'll pass on santonio holmes too.
