Wow. I can't believe that Say Anything is that low on the list...

And James Blunt needs to get hit by a car. That song is the most annoying thing I have ever heard in my life.

HH still lost to Ne-yo, but they still put up 100,000+ in sales...that's alot for an "indie" band.

Just curious...how does whoever post these weekly pick what goes on the list? Sometimes the list is much shorter, but this one has alot of random albums on it, such as both the old HIM albums and GNR Greatest Hits (which is like a year+ old, right...unless they re-released it).

i also love that panic! @ the disco is selling 20,000+ while opening for the academy is, who are selling 2,500+. even though i hate that band, they are a fucking monster. its incredible. please tell little girls to stop buying this album. it just doesn't make since to me. the live show was so weird. little kids in suits w/ lots of extra guitars & drums coming from nowhere.

Say Anything did really well for a re-release.
It's too bad The Smoking Popes didn't sell more than that though.

some of these numbers make me want to burst into tears. why the hell did that many people buy ashlee simpson's cd? wow. october fall was hyped to the FOB crowd a good bit so i'm surprised they haven't sold more. & i figured paramore's numbers would be way higher.

i think it's kinda weird that kt tunstall is starting to sell so well now. that album's been out for like two years, hasn't it? and i can't believe jenny lewis with the watson twins has sold over 36000 copies when it's available for free from team love. i thought that would hurt her sales a bit.

from what i understand their cd isn't going to be released in stores until april. that was what matt told me a couple of months back. it could've changed by now. i do know that they won't sell too many copies in stores because of the grassroots release and the fact that it's only going to be in smaller indie stores. you won't be finding this cd anywhere in best buy or target... yet. (just wait until they turn some heads on a few tours.)

i love how people still dont know hwo to read these charts hahha wow.........this isnt the entire chart. some are like omgzorz where is the Disney CD? Who cares? Tate all copies and pastes the cd's that people care about.....you actually think this is what the billboard for top selling albums look like. HAHA! if that was the case none of you would be here because indie/pop-punk would be so popular and record sales would be so low that you would be too cool for it, you would all be on AbsoluteHipHop.

These Say Anything numbers are great considering its a re-release, I would like to know how many they had sold prior to that release though. CYHSY, great numbers i love it. The Smoking Popes numbers are beyond dissapointing, but it is live and it did go out through victory records who put all of their attention to Hawthorne Heights/Bayside. I dont understand why everyone is still bitching about the Thrice numbers, I think they are great....200,000 records with no radio play or push, ill take it.
