Aqua Teen Hunger Force (any volume) - hilarious show, the 4th volume pisses me off w/ no play all function but commentary is great.

Lords of Dogtown - I skateboarded a lot so this movie catches my interest, a very good movie about the boys of dogtown.

That's pretty much it for this week. Next week is my spring break and i'm going to DC for acouple of days, i'm going to try to have this up though. Keep it real.

Gasp! You didn't mention that Beowulf is being scripted by Richard Avery (Pulp Fiction, Silent Hill) and Neil Gaiman! i also can't wait for Stardust. excellent read.

Incredibly psyched about The Cuse (Cusack) in an adaptation of one of my favorite stories from that selection (although King's take on the "Young Goodman Brown"-type tale is equally fantastic and should be an episode of Masters of Horror).

Van Damme? Comeback? The same sentence? bwahahahahahaha
the new X-Men trailers looks fairly solid, I'm skeptical but hopeful for the new movie

I'm hearing mixed things about The Hills Have Eyes, but Moriarty from Aint It Cool called it the first perfect horror remake, so we'll see. I'm pumped.

Dammitt, not another Resident Evil movie.

If they would've just made the movies straight off the games, they would've been so sweet, but noooo, they had to go and F it up, and put Mila "I am super ugly" Jovovovovovich in it.

As Derrick Rust
03/10/06, 11:17 AM
Just hold it right there. Milla is not super ugly. I actually find her rather attractive.

As for the movies, they weren't that bad.

Yes, it came out an ancient month ago.

Eli Roth will thrive well under this project.

And Milla is quite the opposite of ugly.

Firewall. Ford can do it. Last I heard, they're wanting it to take place in the Cold War, which would allow the character to age just as Ford has.

I just finished reading "Cell" by Stephen King two days ago, and I must say I am very excited for the movie. Seriously, go pick it up. If you liked the recent "Dawn of the Dead" movie I am sure you'll like this book. (Saying that because, as in the DotD movie, the action starts very quickly in the movie and it's very unexplanitory in some aspects of the plot, which is nice imo.)

Reading it right now, I'm very much enjoying it. Although I'll make the genreal statement that I think King is a much better short story writer than a novelist.

Solid article, but you left out the most shocking news I found out about this week...

Although Eli Roth is involved in the "Cell" movie, there's one more for him before that. Hostel 2. I shit you not. I can only imagine how awful it's going to be. I loved Hostel, but the last thing it needs is a sequel.

Any chance that anyones heard any news about the MTV Films remake of The Warriors?

Hostel 2???? I hope not, I thought Hostel was way overrated. It was more of a gorefest then suspenseful.

Saw > Hostel

I think Saw had alot more violence and brutallity than Hostel did. Hostel did an amazing job of suspense to play the audience. It was fucking sweet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm alright with Saw. But Hostel was much better.
