Bottom Line (http://www.bottomlinepunk.com) has posted (http://www.myspace.com/bottomline) a new song titled "Today" from their debut full length on Maverick. The album was produced by John Feldman (Goldfinger, Story of the Year).
John Feldman makes every band sound the exact same and takes away any originality that band has

While it is true that every band John Feldman produces seems to sounds the same...I still end up enjoying just about every band he does produce. I liked Eloquence and I like what I've heard from this album, as well. These bands are kind of like a guilty pleasure of mine.

Um, I don't think that was ever a question. He's talking about over-production.

hahaha yeah, I'm just saying...its not like these guys don't know what they're doing when they compress something or pick a snare sound for a particular track.

Well, I mean, obviously they know what they're doing, doesn't mean someone can't disagree wthose choices though.
I seriously cringe at that production... the compression sucks all the life out of that recording... there's nothing natural about it.

Fuck it, I'll say it...I'm a fan. I hope these dudes just explode...thanks again, John. I've liked these guys since I first heard them on Interpunk when their first album came out. Glad to see good things happening.
